§ 28-104. Enforceability.

  • (a)

    The enforcement agency shall have the authority to have vehicles towed away at owners' expense provided the signage indicates a tow-away zone or district.

    (b)

    The town police department or a town code enforcement officer is empowered to issue citations to any person if there is reasonable cause to believe that the person has violated these regulations subject to a civil penalty in the amount of $50.00. All citations shall be paid within 15 days. If the violator does not make such payment, the payment may be recovered by the town in a civil action in the nature of debt.
